Action games are all those that have missions and campaigns in which the player has to fufill some objectives or targets. Action games can either have melee weapons, ranged weapons or both. These games are of two types. One in which the player's character is alone and fulfills all the objectives singlehandedly. The second is that in which the player has a team or squad under his control.

Reason For Liking Action Games

Action games allow the player to execute different strategies to eliminate all enemies. Action games can have stealth missions or direct assault. These games provide the player with multiple weapons, side arms, launchers etc. These games are based upon only battle, nothing else. The most famous action game series are COD(Call Of Duty), Brothers-in-arms, Battlefield, IGI etc.
